Calling all #PahlawanGizi to help little Nita!

Nita, a 35-months-old girl has grown below the normal line both in weight and height. The ideal weight of a toddler at her age should have reached 14 kg, but Nita’s weight is still under 10 kg. Nita is also often felt fussy and less active like other toddlers of the same age. Her mother married at a very young age when she was in Junior High School, and her marriage ended right after Nita was born, due to domestic violence. Right now, Nita is taken care of by her grandmother because her mother has the obligation to earn some money and left her to work in the city. 

Nita is one of tens of thousands of children in Jember who are malnourished and indicated stunting. Stunting is the impaired growth and development experienced by children due to poor nutrition, repeated infection, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation in the long term. This condition will have an impact on children not only during their growth period but also when they are adults.

Right now, malnutrition happening in Indonesia is becoming one of the main concerns as the number increasing every year which affecting the kid's future as well as the nation's.
