Richo, a little boy of 9 years old, is in danger every day when he studies in the dilapidated classroom and poor sanitation facilities in an elementary school in Bogor District, West Java, Indonesia. He is one of 5,9 million elementary school children who are studying in broken buildings.
It is reported that 1 of 6 classrooms of elementary schools are broken which already happened for years. During the pandemic Covid-19, most schools closed and did online teaching which is already a year. It makes those damaged classrooms getting worse because of the raining and humid weather. While schools plan to open this mid year, millions of children will be in danger for studying in the broken classrooms.
